Park at second large parking lot on left on loop road (with view of large field kept open). Walk down trail towards creek, take right onto trail and follow down to creek bottom in wooded area. After going over bridge, follow creek off trail towards the north about 10 m. Tag tree is a very large tuliptree (90-cm dbh?) on east bank of creek (tag #59 facing south). Conduit is 1 m to south of tree. Vegetation plot runs along length of floodplain (starts 20 m south of tag tree and runs at bearing of 50 degrees).
