A trail circles Star Fort pond. In the upper NW corner of the pond, a bridge goes over the more westerly of the 2 creeks that flow into the pond. From the bridge follow the trail to the east for about 100 m, then go north about 50 m into the Acer negundo / Fraxinus pennsylvanica floodplain. Plot center is in the middle of floodplain. Tag #84 in on a 20-cm Celtis laevigata. Pin is about 1 m west of tree. Transect runs E-W centered on stake.
