Location Narrative	Take Hwy 49 to Cool; turn off into Auburn SRA just before stores in Cool. Walk along road to trail that follows creek. Walk up the creek to wetland adjacent to horse barns, on the north side of the creek. This is a fairly open Juncus balticus stand with some Rumex, about 20 m from the Rubus stand and the creek. Plot is high and dry on SE corner and water is a few inches deep on NW corner. Small stands, much less than 1 acre, repeat along north edge of creek alternating with stands of other Juncus, Carex, Nassella pulchra.; This was once a working ranch with cattle and is now a recreation area with horse traffic and visitors. Plot has no obvious disturbance.
