Location Narrative ? The plot is located in the NE quarter of the property, just south of the railroad tracks in a shallow drainage surrounded by blue oak woodlands. The drainage is wide and shallow with deep, saturated soil. Vegetation cover is very dense and comprised mostly of Ranunculus muricatus, Eleocharis macrostachya, and Glyceria sp.; There is a faint road on a hill adjacent to the plot and evidence of recent wood cutting (we were informed by the landowner that there is cutting of downed wood). Grazing occurs on this property but does not appear to be heavy.
