This plot is located on a low, SE-facing slope at the bottom of 20-m-high small hills; it is in a small drainage about 300 m W and N of the southeastern edge of the Deer Creek parcel of land. Plot is adjacent to a small (6.25 m wide) creek on its NW edge. The SE edge of plot contains a large bedrock outcrop (exactly on the edge but within the plot). Plot was a mixture of graminoids (toad rush) and forbs (clovers).; One main cattle trail cuts through the SE edge of plot and one stomped area at SW edge of plot. Multiple cow hoof prints are scattered through plot (some 5-20 cm deep).
