Upland site with convex topography. Surrounded by vernally wet herbaceous stands. Many rodent holes/mounds throughout this small stand (approximately <200 sq.m in size). Cowpies present in which grass/forbs are growing. This type of stand is scattered throughout the area. Less cobbles are present in this type of stand than in vernally wet areas.; Site is managed by grazing and burning and has been burned within the past 2-5 years.
