Location Narrative	On the Hathaway Ranch on a basalt table south of Swede Creek. Plot consists of a vernal pool in a shallow basin surrounded by Quercus douglasii on all sides and a basalt outcrop to the west. Pool contains low diversity and has high cover of Eryngium castrense. Edge of pool to the NW is dominated by Navarretia leucocephala.; Active cattle grazing with many hoof prints in the plot. A conservation easement.
