Stand is located in a dramatic swale/draw in the NW corner of the property. The landscape is characterized by a rocky hummock/swale pattern in this open, treeless area. The surrounding land N and S of the stand slopes gradually to the E-to-W-running draw where the stand is found. This Navarretia leucocephala-dominated stand is on the margin of the draw with the center of the draw being just off to the south.; The property is grazed. The cattle were removed last week. Conservation easement held by the Shasta Land Trust.
