Plot is located in a dense stand about 30 m north of Hwy 146. Stand is located 100 m northwest of Pillars Picnic Area (High Peaks View Picnic Area, 5/19/03). The center of the plot is located on an old revegetated pig trail. This land is part of the original park boundaries. Possibly, there was a fire in 1948. Medium total questionable if Adenostoma and Ceanothus are on the same level. The plot requires bush-whacking. There are no significant features except two Pinus sabiniana to the northeast of the plot.
