Location Narrative ? Site is adjacent to and north of park road, southeast of "fire wayside" pull out (presently unnamed paved pull out near Chalone Road bridge). Possible fire scars. Road has been built up in a levee fashion, approx 0.75 m higher than plot. Poor plot selection - next to road; probably highly disturbed at one time. Cryptobiotic soil crust.
