Location Narrative	The stand is located approximately 1 mile west of the juction of Hwy 146 and Hwy 25, on a ridge off the ridge system east of McCabe Canyon. The McCabe Canyon new lands were acquired by the monument from BLM in 2000. There is visible evidence of past fires. There is some feral pig damage in the plot. Ceanothus at 28%. The plot is located on the upper portion of the middle 1/3 of the slope. The slope is covered in sparse large chaparral. The stand is easy to walk through. There are no distinguishing characteristics in the plot. Some kind of medium-sized animal burrow in plot, diameter of 15 cm. Morel in plot (mushroom).
