Location Narrative
Plot located about 15 meters east of Juniper Canyon Trail. The plot is located before the trail continues south and east up to High Peaks. Could be near old homestead? Sedum spathulifolium alliance with possible moss spp. association. The plot is on a west-facing exposed bedrock slope. The lower edge of the plot borders a seasonal creek. Lots of bees on the flowering sedum. Swallowtail butterfly flies past. Also California Sister, Sarah Orangetip, and Variable Checkerspot.
