Location Narrative ? Site is an east-facing canyon that drains toward Hwy 25. The fireline road runs along the south rim and head of the canyon. Site is located 200 m east of the road. Other photos for plot: 972 (renamed 778a) is of the entire stand. The plot is part of a moderately sized stand of chamise-manzanita. Plot location was chosen to represent the mix of chamise and manzanita on hillside. The plot does not have an even distribution of manzanita and chamise, and in places the chamise is in very open distribution. Pig damage major; feces fresh; trails and wallows (approx. 5).
