Approx. 3/4 mile into Frog Canyon from junction of Sandy Creek and Frog Canyon mouth. Site is slightly uphill to the northwest of the drainage, above a small stand of Sycamores. These are vey, very small stands, with the smallest sampling plot. Most of the time, the plot is as wide as the stand. Generally, in a Scree plot, there are some native annual-perennial forbs, and the rest is rock. These stands may appear similar to disturbed areas on the map. Plot is sparsely vegetated with annual forbs and bush Lupines. Substrate is unconsolidated and is composed of larger cobble, stones, and small gravel. S-facing slope. Various and numerous butterflies frequenting site.
