Location Narrative ? In top 1/3 of SW-facing slope overlooking Hwy 146, on east side of Pinnacles. Plot is located directly above a small drainage and is approx 600 m from hairpin bridge over Chalone Creek. WGS 84. Polygon is surrounded by dense chaparral and is well demarcated by adjacent areas. Numerous small animal burrows within plot, abundant within the buckwheat, sandy soils and grassy areas.
