Location Narrative ? Plot is located in Black Sage stand directly upslope and north of Condor Gulch parking lot. The plot is on the upper 1/3 slope, just below the chamise-covered crest of the hill. The stand is bordered on the south end by the Condor Gulch Trail. Some evidence of fire, but not sure when. The plot is situated in a Black Sage and CA Buckwheat community on steep and unstable terrain overlooking the Condor Gulch Access Rd. Diversity appears low, perhaps due to terrain. Plot is part of large Black Sage stand spanning the majority of this south-facing hillside.
