Location Narrative	The stand is located about 200 m SE of Mt. Harris Peak, and the fire break that runs along it. Land acquired by Pinnacles in 2000, from BLM. There are some small signs of fire, such as burned stems, but they are very old. Adenostoma at 24%. This was a poor plot selection & does not accurately reflect the stand we were trying to sample. This plot was on the edge. This may be a Salvia-Adenostoma Alliance. The plot is located in the exact center of the stand. The plot is on the middle 1/3 of the linear slope. The vegetation of the plot is very heterogeneous, but homogeneous throughout the stand. The stand is broken by two dry draws to the northeast and southeast. The stand is very dense and very large.
