Location Narrative ? The stand is located around 400 m south of Mt. Harris peak. The stand is surrounded by different types of chaparral. There are no fire scars or any signs of grazing. There is pig damage in the plot. The land was acquired by PINN from BLM in 2000. The plot is located on the SW edge of the stand. The plot is on a small plateau along the huge ridge leading from the top of Mt. Harris (3000 ft) to "Lost/Black" Canyon (1000 ft). The plateau is definitely convex with an easterly aspect.
