Location Narrative ? New leaves on Platanus, but cover would be higher with full leaves. Eriogonum cinereum away from creek. Water in creek! Less Salix in southeast, Platanus racemosa/Baccharis salicifolia might be better for the very end of the polygon (where the creek goes underground). Can't get a good view of northern 2/3rds of polygon 22 as drawn by AIS. As seen from over a mile away appeared to be Platanus over Salix. Also from memory (over a year ago) remember seeing high cover of Carex in the understory.
