Ceanothus spinosus somewhat patchy, Prunus ilicifolia mostly at east end and near cliffs. Saw entire east half of polygon, but not western portion. Could be more Melica in understory than seen. Similar to Ceanothus spinosus-Prunus ilicifolia type but Cercocarpus betuloides dominant. Cliff with Prunus at east end could be a Ceanothus spinosus-Prunus ilicifolia type but probably less than minimum mapping unit.
