Slope exposure and steepness vary greatly over entire polygon. Disturbances outside of plot include road, trails, signs, and various developments. The frequent mowing of area within polygon probably accounts for the greater density of Erodium botrys. Lower herb material missed by mower. GPS taken in center of releve plot.

Upland; Description of the plot in relation to the rest of the stand: Other areas of the polygon have concentration of Brassica nigra. Also greater densities of Avena fatua and Bromus diandrus. This plot was chosen because overall this area seems to represent this mixing of species.
