Observation Narrative |
original plot ID: AA0592, Vegetation type confidence: Northern edge of polygon good concentration of large shrubs. Non-native herb concentration heaviest in western half of polygon (Centaurea melitensis, Hirschfeldia incana are dominants). Artemisia californica cover sparser in western half of polygon. Artemisia californica very dominant in eastern half. [Changed UTM final to fall within correct GIS polygon according to overlay photocopy.] Doesn't key well - heterogeneity problems ; Eastern 1/2 of polygon a strong Artemisia californica alliance. The Lotus scoparius cover gave impression this was a 3240 Eriogonum fasciculatum.;
