Location Narrative	The plot is located in the Table Mt. Ecological Reserve on a "lava finger" in the middle of the northern portion of the reserve. The stand has very sparse vegetation of forbs and Vulpia microstachys. The vegetation is restricted to a layer of thin soil amongst the volcanic cobbles. The rocks have a high cover of lichen and some moss.; The site is in an ecological reserve managed for botanical resources and is actively grazed.
