This upland plot is immediately SSW of the vernal pool sampled in SNFN0082 (marked with white pin flags), about 40 m south of the construction site and 20 m west of the road. The stand is mostly non-native annual grasses and some forbs. Construction of a large development tract (grading) has just begun immediately adjacent to the site. This site is probably the mitigated, preserved section of vernal pools. Even though the GPS points don't exactly match, we are certain (pin flags) that this plot is adjacent to SNFN0082.; The site was burned about 4 years ago.
