Hog's Lake Plateau. The stand is in a small tributary of Sevenmile Creek that crosses highway 36, about a quarter of a mile northeast of where Sevenmile Creek does. The plot was laid on the north banks of the creek due northwest of the highway. The plot covers the northern bank of this small wash that the stand comprises. The vegetation is open juniper scrub with a continuous (but not heavy) cover of herbaceous understory comprised primarily of non-native annual grasses. The site has a high cover of boulders and stones.; The site is grazed.
