The stand is located in a hummock/swale system containing multiple repetitions of the stand type we are in, 65 m east of Cohasset Rd inside the fence of the property boundary. There is a lot of standing water due to all the rain. At the deepest point, water is about 4 inches deep. Composition consists of a very cobbly substrate with emergent Lasthenia californica and Deschampsia danthonioides and submerged Navarretia leucocephala.; This area is grazed every year consistently for a few weeks after the Limnanthes has set seed. The stand area we are in has not been grazed yet this year.
