Location Narrative ? The stand is located on a hummock in a hummock/swale system just east of Cohasset Blvd., inside the fence at the property boundary. The hummock/swale system is relatively linear and there is micro-variation on the hummock (all falling under the California Annual Grassland alliance.) The stand is comprised mostly of exotic annual grasses and forbs which is representative of the other uplands in this system.; This area is grazed for a few weeks every year, towards the end of the flowering of the native annuals. There appears to be a lot of bioturbation in the plot due to grazing and small animal burrowing.
