| Location Narrative |
This site is located in the eastern half of the Wildlife Area, just west of the power lines and north of a small dirt road. The area is open and rocky with a somewhat shallow soil layer. The stand is located on the upland portion with undulating macrotopography and its composition is representative of the upland areas throughout the system. Cover is dominated by Vulpia microstachys and Erodium botrys as well as Linanthus bicolor.; Grazing occurs on this landscape for roughly three weeks a year, after the early annual forbs have seeded. This area has not been grazed yet this year.
