Beautiful Eschscholzia cali. field with huge herb cover (Erodium) & low shrub cover. Steep, S. apiana dominates the shrub stratum locally, however the entire slope is more mixed shrubs. Surrounding area most commonly dominated by Artemisia californica & Encelia farinosa.
