On the Wurlitzer Ranch. Northeast of Zimmershed creek. The plot consists of herbaceous forbs and grasses in a vernally wet flat area. Dominant species include Lasthenia, Layia, Vulpia microstachys. Large amounts of rocks are present, and there is high species diversity. There is a small hummock in the NW portion of the plot with less rock cover and, perhaps, slightly different vegetation.; This site is actively grazed by cattle (cow dung and hoof prints are present).
