Observation Narrative ? In Table 12 of unpublished thesis (Cooper 1983). Only selected releves were published in Cooper 1986b. Late-lying snowbeds. Standsof this association werefound in cold cirques, below cliffs where snow accumulates from sloughing off of cliffs, and in bowl-shaped or level depressions. Low and shaded landscape positions create delayed snowmelt. Snow lasts until late June.
