About 150 m S of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Barrow Observatory on surface between two drained lake basins; appearsto be good representative of zonal vegetation. Residual surface on coastalplain. Majority of the site is: Moist CARAQU, SALROT, TOMNIT, CETISL, graminoid, moss tundra with mesic hummocks < 10 cm tall, occasional frost scarsand non-sorted circles 20-25 cm in diameter uncommon < 5 percent cover. Latitude and longitude are from the original datasheet for the SW corner of the grid. The relevé is located within the grid at grid point I-4.
