Observation Narrative
The stand, 1.3 miles N of Umiat was located on the upper portion of the S-facingslope which extended from the upland to the floodplain. The slope was approximately 12 degrees. It had a limited amount of protection from N winds and the site was medium moist. The microrelief, average 16 inches and maximum30 inches, resulted fromthe presence of mounds which were round or elongate, the latter form beingparallel to the direction of the slope. The surface drainage was well-developed. Entered by L. Druckenmiller and imported into TV by A. Breen and L. Druckenmiller
