This marsh, 0.6 miles NW of Umiat, was located in an old stream scar about 25 feet wide on the edge of a low terrace adjacent to the high terrace. To the Eand W of the area sampled were small bodies of open water which marshes ofthis type were invading from all sides. The site was very wet and so levelthat the microrelief was insignificant. No surface drainage was possible. Entered by L. Druckenmiller and imported into TVby A. Breen and L. Druckenmiller
