Park on Cades Cove loop Rd. before crossing over the Abrams Creek bridge. The is a hog exclosure on the west side of the road. Plot is 175 meters form the road in hog exclosure at 310 degrees from bridge. There is a small stream that you have to cross
Wet alluvial woods. Fields adjacent to the stand on east side. Stands appears to be fairly evenaged, almost no shrub layer. -- Sycamore is scattered along Victory Branch, however the rest of the woods area Red maple/white ash with scattered poplar and pitch pine.

Plot is representative of entire polygon. Sweetgum seedlings were found, however, no dominant trees. I think red maple/ash or red maple/poplar is a better match.
