Hike Waterton Lake Trail to junction with N Boundary Trail. Head west about 1.25 mi, to top of steep hill before first footbridge crossing Boundary Creek. Bushwack gradually uphill going up river. Plot is in big, open, brushy avalanche chute.
Soil is very dark (almost balck) and makes a good 1 in ribbon. Very little gravel. Does have a bit of small rock chunks (5-10%). Feels quite silty but still some grit. Seems to have a small amount of clay.
