Observation Narrative
This plot represents much of the vegetation in moist swales that are scattered across the Napi Burn (fire of 1988). Relatively sheltered here. Upland & across most of burned area is SPIBET/EPIANG shrubland.
Soil is much more developed here than in last 2 plots, also in Napi burn. Fairly dark and silty with sand present. Somewhat gritty texture. Some rocks larger than gravel present. Made ribbon about 1.5 in long.
