Pretty uniform stand of PINCON. Easy to see on aerial photo. Some PSEMEN survived last fire here and are larger than PINCON. Lots of small PICENG coming in. This is a relatively flat bench area that sits upland of river floodplain. PSEMEN age = 152 y
Soil has a yellowish tinge and is quite light in color. Very loamy with some gravel and rounded small rocks present. May have a thin layer of ash in upper layer.
