This slope is covered by PINCON, with an understory mosaic of this assn. and XERTEN. Lots of SPIBET in areas of PINCON forest that receive little light to forest floor. Lots of patchy SPIBET on this slope in understory. PINCON age = 65 yrs.
No bedrock in plot is visible, but plot is just below rocky/bedrock ridge to north. Soil is very rocky (>40% rock) with angular pieces of gravel and bigger pieces of argilite.
