The high reflectivity of this area due in large part to all the jackstrawed PINPON with "branches on" for the most part; these boles are well above the ground surface and will take years to contact the ground in many cases.
Red Bench Fire of 1988 far northern portion with in park; must have been severely burned (high intensity) because very few standing snags (though some snags do have fine branches which contradicts severe burn in interpretation.
