This assn. is scattered all along this slope at about 7500-8100 ft. Lots of loose talus with patchy vegetation. Species diversity is high, but cover is very low.
Soil is very light brown, sandy and gravelly. Makes a weak ribbon just under 1 in. Scree and talus is predominently red and green argillite, but also quite a bit of tan rock present.
