This mesic meadow also has quite a bit of willow. Pretty expansive in these moist, sheltered areas. ABILAS krummholz patches are scattered around the area.
Silty clay loam. Soil is very dark gray with small balls of lighter gray that could be clay. Makes good 2 in. ribbon. Very little rock content and very little loam.
