Fire history: stand-replacing about 75-80 yrs b.p. based on PINCON ages and before that, about 200 yrs b.p. (based on LAROCC that survived 1920's burn); there were (or perhaps still are) even older LAROCC that have succumbed of late; they are fire scarred
PINCON was to small (in diameter) to incur bark beetle attack but natural mortality has downed a considerable number of trees and really opened the canopy.
