Most of this forest (upland and S of Swiftcurrent Creek) is PINCON with ARNCOR and quite a bit of PICENG. Patches of PINCON/CALCAN are scattered in shallow draws or depressions where moisture accumulates. The patches aren't very big, which is the reason
Soil is light brown when dry and makes a good ribbon. Does have small rock and gravel (about 3%). Has granular, small clumps present that indicate clay.
