Looks liike this area gets flooded and holds water for a good part of early season. Very grassy. River channel is not far away. Close to trail but doesn't seem to be impacted by it. Closer to river it becomes more shrubby, with CORSER and RHAALN. PIC
Soil looks like sand but holds together when squeezed in a ball with water added. Does not hold together without water. Red and green argillite present.
