Location Narrative ? Stand south of berm is disturbed wetland with other herbs. Small inclusions of herb patches within stand separating other stands of Allenrolfea. Large playa adjacent to NW side of stand. Kern NWR. Allenrolfea occidentalis stand NW 375m away from Goose Lake canal and N edge Roak boundary in Unit 15. Open shrubland of Allenrolfea occidentalis on broad, convex rise approx 350 m long. Density and size of shrubs decreases at the edges of the stand. Width of stand varies from >150 m wide. (where GPS pt taken) to 10 m wide. Fine herb cover occurs outside of shrub understory. Bromus and Amsinckia menziesii occur in the more disturbed areas.
