Salix gooddingii and Populus fremontii are only included because Quercus lobata is overshadowing some of their branches. Quercus lobata stand NE side of San Joaquin River ~25m NE of river's edge. There is a dirt road on the NE side of stand. Understory herbaceous layer is largely Bromus diandrus. The stand's length (running SE-NW) is ~60 m, the width (running NE-SW) is ~20 m.
