Location Narrative |
BLM property accessed via Brush Rd. Parcel is west of Brush Rd. Quercus wislizeni stand on the northeast side growing below a large cut into the hillside possibly from past mining activity. A wide sandy swale forms the northwest and southwest edge though it's unclear whether it runs through the stand (it may be from mining activity as well). In between the hillside and the swale, the stand slightly undulates but maintains an overall convex shape. The site may have burned six to eight years ago.
