Located in BLM parcel adjacent to EBMUD property NE of Camanche Reservoir. Almost pure Typha stand growing in slight depression. Depression may be result of past mining or other earth moving activities. Stand is dissected by large animal trails creating more open swaths (stand is dense where there are no trails). Juncus and Mentha growing in patches along circular band surrounding stand with a few growing just inside stand (at edge). Stand has slight sulfur smell.
