Location Narrative ? Hiking trail runs through the middle of stand. Approx 100 m long and 20 m wide. Small stand of Salix at southwest end marks beginning of stand. Quercus lobata stand has varied native herbaceous layer underneath for ~50 m each side of GPS point, running parallel to river. Stand has lower impact disturbance that adjacent Quercus stands. Open mid-canopy, becomes densest at waters' edge.
